Call For Submissions

Achtung! The U2 Studies Journal is a new peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary e-journal devoted to critical analyses of the band’s canon and its relationship to contemporary culture. Launching in May 2012, the journal seeks to investigate the relationships between U2 and its relevance to the music, art, design, film, literature, theology/spirituality, theater, and politics in their broadest definitions over time.

Although an international endeavor, the editors accept articles/essays of the inquisitive, analytic, and critical kind written in English only. We do not accept creative or visual art, or works intending solely to pay homage to U2.

We welcome submissions from academics, students, lay-scholars, and fans. Readers will be able to print content on demand at no charge. The journal is not affiliated with U2.
